Green Buildings & Operations

Building operations are a large consumer of natural resources and a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. In our operations, and in partnership with our clients, we help create and operate buildings that are increasingly environmentally friendly, energy efficient, and safe.

Energy & Water Conservation

Our operations depend on safe and reliable energy and water sources. Nearly all of the energy we consume is supplied by finite natural resources which contribute to climate change and affect the environmental quality of the communities that we serve. We advocate for and partner with school districts to bring a range of energy and water conservation programs to these communities.

Waste & Stream Management

One of the first steps in minimizing our environmental footprint is reducing the amount of garbage generated. We focus on the 3 R's (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) in our operations and those of our partner districts.

Responsible Procurement

At ARAMARK Education, we seek to purchase and use environmentally friendly products and services and use suppliers who reduce the negative impacts on the environment in production and distribution.
